WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Introduction to Basic Skills
You’ll learn fundamental skills like equalizing, clearing your mask, and maintaining buoyancy—everything you need to feel comfortable and safe underwater.
Safety and Equipment Overview
Your instructor will walk you through the essential dive equipment, how it works, and how to use it effectively. From regulators to buoyancy control devices, you’ll be set up with the best gear to support a great first dive.
Guided Open Water Dive
After learning the basics, it’s time to dive! You’ll enjoy a shallow dive in open water with your instructor by your side, experiencing the thrill of exploring an underwater world filled with vibrant marine life.
PREREQUISITES
For the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, prerequisites are simple and accessible.
Minimum Age
Participants must be at least 10 years old.
Health and Fitness
You should be in reasonably good health and comfortable in the water. Although you don’t need to be an expert swimmer, basic swimming ability is recommended. You’ll be asked to complete a brief medical questionnaire to ensure there are no health risks, as certain conditions may require medical clearance from a doctor.
No Previous Experience Needed
