Discover Scuba Diving at Casa Cenote, under the close guidance of a PADI Certified Instructor.
The Discover Scuba Diving Tulum course allows you to dive without being certified!
It's perfect for you if you've never dived before and have been meaning to give it a try, and a great way to test the waters to see whether you want to go on to get your Open Water Certification.
Under the close guidance of a PADI Certified Instructor, we start with some basic theory and an introduction to the equipment before heading to Casa Cenote to practice some safety skills and make a dive to around 7m/21ft.
Discover Scuba Diving is also the ideal course for a Refresher Dive after a long break. It's the ideal environment for touching up on your skills before getting back into the ocean or exploring more complex Cenotes.
Certified divers can experience a dive through cracks and passages in the limestone as well as under the mangrove.

This makes it an ideal open water cavern environment for diving and snorkeling alike!
Because of its connection to the Ocean, the combined fresh and salt water produces an effect in Casa Cenote called a Halocline, also known as brackish water.
This alongside the mangrove roots that hang submerged within the water from the surrounding vegetation give divers a feeling of diving underneath the jungle.
NOTE: These roots contain the required nutrients to help maintain a stable ecosystem for the aquatic life living in these spectacular waters and vegetation, including barracudas, tarpons, moray eels and a variety of birds roosting and hunting inside of the vegetation.
This makes it super important to avoid coming into contact with these roots.
